Great Experience in Edinburgh

"As a first time visitor to Edinburgh I thought I knew a little about Scottish history. I was wrong. Stuart Usher’s 3-hour walking tour was a treasure trove of history, local color, and entertainment. It was a thoroughly enjoyable 3 hours that flew by. I would definitely recommend this tour."

Superb. A must.

"Simply put if you are making your first visit to Edinburgh, as my wife and I did in early August, this is an absolute must. We had already spent several days in Edinburgh before our tour but it opened up our eyes to many hidden surprises and insights. We then spent the next several days delving deeper into areas initially introduced to us by this tour."

A brilliant adventure

"What a wonderful way to orientate yourself around this magical city and learn of its deep, rich history. Richard was incredibly engaging, knowledgeable and so personable, (remembering everyone’s names). His sarcasm and quick wittedness was gold. Highly recommend this small scale, very manageable walk."

Best walking tour ever

"Despite torrential rain our three hour walking tour was fantastic. Stuart took us to places most tourists would miss. He also gave us hints of things we could do ourselves. If you only do one walking tour this is the one to do."

Fascinating and Amusing

"We did a private tour which was led but Stuart Usher. Stuart made the history of the city come alive with fascinating stories and amusing anecdotes. It was a 4 hour tour but the time passed quickly and the tour was well paced. Highly recommended."
